Chobots!

Hackers & scammers are something we all want to stay away from. They both want to steal your account, but one is more dangerous. Most people don’t actually know the differenc between the two, but here, I’ll explain them both.

HACKERS

Hackers are more dangerous than scammers. A hacker can get your password without you even saying it. Hackers can also do things like get infinite bugs, and stuff like that. Being a hacker almost always results in being banned forever. The moderators of chobots can see when you are hacking, so don’t go getting any ideas. 

SCAMMERS

Scammers are actually pretty easy to spot, as long as you have common sense. A scammer will say things like, ” You have been elected the next Mod, we just need your password, and then you’ll become a mod.” If you give them your password, they will change it, and usually thay sell all of your items just for fun. =\ They could also ask for your email address and email password, but don’t give them that either, because if the click restore when logging in, they can get your password. Just remember that no real agent or moderator will EVER ask for your password.

GETTING YOUR ACCOUNT BACK

If it ever happens that you lost your password, your account was stolen or your password was changed, you can get it back. To do that, all you have to do is is enter your chobots name when logging in ( you do not need the password ) and then click the restore button next to where you enter your password.

Then it will ask for your email address that you signed your account up with. This is to send you an email with your password in it. If your account was stolen, or you were hacked, it is EXTREMELY recommended that you change your password.
